I had the opportunity to watch the Fijian "fire walking" ceremony at The Westin Hotel recently. As you can see from the photograph below, the rocks are so hot they have turned white.

"RiversFiji" a local company operating from Pacific Harbour provides whitewater rafting and kayaking adventures. An ideal way to explore the island's mountainous rainforest interior. The company operates great multi-day and overnight programs which include trips ideal for families and groups.

This cheerful boy selling mud crabs along the roadside between Nadi and Lautoka,
was happy to be on camera. My apologies for the poor background...
it was one of those days when we did not expect rain.
Most days are fine and sunny.

Aircalin, the national airline of New Caledonia  operates from Noumea to ten (10) holiday destinations in the South Pacific; namely Nadi Airport, Wallis, Tahiti, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul.

It is obvious the airline’s operating schedule was decided with the customers’ convenience in mind. The airline operates a young fleet of A320 and A330 aircraft which makes it one of the most reliable airlines operating in the region.

New Caledonia's geographic location is what makes air travel on Aircalin so convenient and “jetlag” free.
I find the crew friendly and their in-flight service of high standard. Flying Aircalin can be enjoyable and event free.

The A320 aircraft arriving from Wallis at Nadi International Airport and en-route to Noumea recently.

Happy and friendly staff with crew on board the aircraft during a scheduled transit stop.
